Google Change

I was at work when I was catching some transitions on my Gmail in realtime. Caught me by surprise. You yourself will soon be apart of the testing group. Just wait. Here are some screenshots.

mensfashion

If I were a guy, I be an absolute minimalist – respecting the basics and withholding from the patterns. Don’t ask me why, it’s a gut feeling. Its more about material and endurance, not statement nor attention.

Best songs to listen to when you’re making a deadline, can’t drink coffee, and avoiding taking that long lunch break. This is for the hour right before crash landing a meeting after losing three days of valuable worktime.

YEEDOR - Happy Halloween

In spirit of its first celebration after the big transition to Los Angeles, I decided to make a Halloween costume based on my life of work and relationships (after several other ideas). I ended up as myself in low-resolution.

Steve Jobs (1955 - 2011)

It had been raining all day and I was wearing black from head to toe. Who knew I would actually end up mourning by the end of it. As a designer, educator, and former student – I thank you Steve Jobs for making it possible.

Crtl+N File is a first action that results in failure. Bring your mind to the sketchbook, and then bring your developers, marketers, and managers. Together, that core kickoff to any project is your Ctrl+ Idea…

Sorry I’ve been absent but I just moved my life from east to west coast. Take a look at some of the photos I managed to plug into this sucker. My Dad came along for the ride…and what a ride it was.

Another paper prototype from a former student. Check it out. The student quickly managed two strips of paper just to convey layers and sliding content.

the_sartorialist

A series of documentaries about the lives of inspirational bloggers was created for the Visual Life Campaign. This film explores the life of street style fashion blogger The Satorialist.

YEEDOR

Oddly only waited about 15 minutes in line to reach the opening of the special exhibition. The experience of bombardment of other visitors is not a pleasant one. But Savage Beauty is chilling beginning to end.

A must-see movie that investigates in a unique (and funny) 360-degree view of the growing pains plaguing the media. What if New York Times didn’t exist tomorrow? The world of publishing then vs. now. View the trailer.

spork-nyc

SporkNYC is an online tool that allows anyone to inspect any restaurant in New York City to reveal how many health regulations it has violated. I checked out my favorite places in the city. Terribly…disappointed.

Their grid layout is really nice but in a way, I’m a bit sick and tired of this long look that we’re commonly seeing on media sites like CNN. It’s really clean…but it’s lost their minimal look that I was never overwhelmed by.

chromebook

It’s been out for about a day now. Chromebook is a big F-U to the terms ‘Windows’ and ‘Mac.’ It’s neither. This is Google. This is Chrome. I don’t have one but I think my parents would like over an iPad.
